This unit combined low cost, right cooling size, and met my need for an A/C with forward-facing controls. One issue I was concerned with was noise; while audible, it is far quieter than the old unit it replaced, and easily tolerable in the 150 sq. Ft room it's in. It cools well now (outside temps in the 80's) , but clock will tell how it copes when the outside temps climb into the 90's.Frigidaire 5000 btu window air conditioner
